We draw from imagination\, capture the essence of a story\, and build the visuals around a well-crafted narrative — rhyme\, alliteration\, playful repetition\, or even wordless. Let the illustrations tell the story. \nWhat we’ll do\n\nDevelop your characters and find their voices\nShape a plot and storyboard it\nExplore writing techniques and styles\nStart a book dummy for words and pictures\nTry illustration techniques and unusual materials\nDevelop your own style for page spreads\n\nBy the end you’ll have carried a picture-book idea a long way towards a finished little book — with plenty to continue at home. A relaxed small group\, all materials provided\, suitable for complete beginners through to experienced makers. Whether it’s a story for a child in your life\, a long-held idea\, or simply a creative day for yourself — this is your blank page.
