We have huge tables to lay out projects on or put quilts together on\, and sewing machines and overlockers you can use. The view’s not too bad either !!\n\n\n\nYou get to see what others are up to — it’s inspiring and encouraging\n\n\n\nWe also have air conditioning so the room has the right climate whatever the weather.

SUMMARY:Kinusaiga Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Try your hand at Kinusaiga\, the Japanese art of fabric patchwork mosaic (traditionally made with silk kimono scraps – we’ll be using ordinary cotton fabrics)\, in this relaxed daytime workshop with Rachel. Using beautiful fabric off-cuts\, you’ll design and assemble your own mosaic picture\, fitting each piece into a wooden board using traditional Kinusaiga techniques. \n\n\n\nEverything is included: all fabrics\, tools and your own wooden frame\, so you’ll leave with a finished\, framed piece ready to hang on the wall the moment you get home. \n\n\n\nNo experience necessary\, just bring your creativity! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCafé: workshop students get 10% off in our café all day. \n\n\n\n\n\nThis workshop is run by Rachel Semonin\, an independent tutor. Cornish Craft Barn hosts it and takes bookings and payments on Rachel’s behalf.
