February 27 @ 10:00 am – 12:30 pm
Building on Art Club’s January skills workshops, we will explore working from photos and simplifying them to produce better pieces; the use of watercolour as an accessible ‘on the go’ medium for travel journalling in sketchbooks and working from travel photos to capture a memory:
- How to simplify your scenes and photos
- Value studies
- How to paint bright, light scenes
- Glowing watercolours
We will then combine our newly acquired and/or refined skills to produce a final piece of work. As always, we will be keen to display your work on our Amateur Artists Gallery wall in the Cornish Craft Barn, and you can even sell your finished work from the gallery space!
£15.00 – £25.00
£15 per session (£25 Block of 2 in Feb) Materials and refreshments included
