Calling all sewists, makers, and “I-need-more-pockets” enthusiasts! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or have never touched a sewing machine, we’re launching a brand new monthly Bag Club.
Every month, we’ll gather at the Barn to:
- Work on Your Own Projects: Bring that half-finished tote or that favorite repair you’ve been meaning to get to.
- The Group Project: We’ll sometimes also work together on a simple, fun bag project—perfect for learning new skills in a relaxed environment.
- Talk Shop: Hardware, fabrics, patterns, and inspiration—all things bag-related!
- Access our resources, patterns, industrial sewing machine, overlocker, rivet press etc to help your bag making get that professional edge.
On 28 April if you would like to take part we will be making a pocket tote bag, this is optional if you want to work on your own projects that’s fine too. The tote bag doesnt need any hardward but will need : Lining/Outer: 1m, Pockets: 0.7m Straps: 0.3m cotton fabric or straps or webbing, Interfacing: 1m of fusible medium-weight interfacing.
