In this relaxed and inspiring workshop at the Cornish Craft Barn, you’ll explore the art of ink and wash — combining simple line work with fluid watercolour to create expressive sketches full of life and personality.

Whether you’d love to document your daily life, sketch meals and moments out and about, or create a meaningful travel journal, this session will give you the confidence to start. We’ll focus on letting go of perfection, embracing spontaneity, and learning how to tell visual stories through quick, characterful sketches.

This is a welcoming, beginner-friendly workshop with gentle guidance throughout, designed to help you build confidence and enjoy the process as much as the outcome.

All materials including brushes, paint and paper are included so please just bring yourself along and perhaps an apron or clothes you don’t mind getting messy.
