Art In Nature (Watercolour)
June 11 – 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

We will illustrate the beauty of nature, visiting botanicals and animals, and incorporating them into an illustrated watercolour trail map that highlights where you saw them, making it a fun guide or gift for family and friends who may visit you. Please encourage them to follow your trail and look for the illustrated wildlife, plants and flowers. By the end of the day, we will have developed the structure and outline for your trail map, illustrated many elements and covered techniques to bring them together as one finished piece, whether collaged or digitally stitched! No previous experience is necessary, but some watercolour confidence would be helpful. Treat yourself to this fantastically priced full-day course today.
The day will be full of fast learning exercises and mini-tutorials to entertain and move you forward at a good pace, making great strides in your watercolour confidence and your finished trail map.

“It would be useful for you to pull together photos and images of both the wildlife and places you would like to incoporate into your trail map. Artistic license is allowed! Is your trail near a village or scenic point of note? Great! Lets capture that in the map too. Don’t see foxes often but know they are there on your trail? No problem lets pop a fox into the map too! It will be all about enjoying the process and the subject matter. Set yourself up to win with some interesting elements from the natural world to hand as references. 🙂 “
