Mixed Media Creative Portrait Workshop – Canvas Included!
Friday, 28 November – 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
A half-day workshop from 10 am to 1 pm that focuses on mixed media and portraiture skills for complete beginners as well as those who are more confident.
We will focus on portraiture approaching them using a variety of media, including acrylics, inks, collage, wax, masking and watercolour, among others.
The technique will be covered, along with some key tips to make progress quickly. However, excitingly, it will still be your style that shines through and makes your pieces unique. You will be busy with practical exercises from the start and are sure to have an enjoyable morning, becoming more confident as a mixed-media creative.

Materials will be provided for the workshop; you need nothing! All excuses to ‘have a go’ have been removed. Treat yourself to some ‘you time’ and turn up energised and ready to conquer oils. Refreshments are also included during mid-session breaks, and you’ll also receive a 10% discount at the cafe and shop on the day. Come and join an enjoyable, sociable atmosphere with fellow aspiring artists and kick-start ‘having a go’ with oils.
