Wheal Friendly Stitch Club – Thursday 21st January

Welcome to one of our many Cornish Craft Barn Stitch Groups. We run several regular groups that meet once a month. If you’re interested in joining one, everyone is welcome with any type of project and all levels!
This is an all-day session where you can work on quilting projects on machines or by hand with other quilters who are looking to share ideas and experience and can provide guidance for each other – plus lots of lovely chat, cake and coffee! It is not a ‘tutored’ session but a room filled with abundant expertise from which to seek assistance. We can offer short demonstrations or mini projects from time to time if this is something the group decides they want!
The session runs from 10am – 4pm but feel free to attend as much of this as you can to fit in with your other commitments. Lunch can be bought from the cafe with a 10% discount. Plenty of parking outside and we can give you a hand to get your machines upstairs to the training room if needed.
Janome sewing machines can be borrowed from our sewing studio for the day if you’d rather not bring your own. Please let us know in advance so we can make sure one is ready for you.
We ask for payment quarterly in advance £17.50 per session, so £52.50 which covers three sessions for you. If you can’t make a session you can use the credit at any of our other monthly clubs, or carry one session over in any 6 month period. If you’d like to test us out and attend one session before you commit; this is fine too and we charge £20 for this, or just pay £20 to attend the occasional one off session without any longer commitment.
