Wheal Friendly Stitch Club – 3rd Thursday Monthly

Welcome to one of our many Cornish Craft Barn Stitch Groups. We run several regular groups that meet once a month.  If you’re interested in joining one, please contact us or book in to attend if we have spaces available.  

This is an all-day session where you can work on quilting projects on machines or by hand with other quilters who are looking to share ideas and experience and can provide guidance for each other – plus lots of lovely chat, cake and coffee!  It is not a ‘tutored’ session but a room filled with abundant expertise from which to seek assistance. We can offer short demonstrations or mini projects from time to time if this is something the group decides they want! 

The session runs from 10am – 4pm but feel free to attend as much of this as you can to fit in with your other commitments. Lunch can be bought from the cafe with a 10% discount.  Plenty of parking outside and we can give you a hand to get your machines upstairs to the training room if needed. 

We have several new Janome quilting sewing machines available to borrow for the day if you need one or find it easier than bringing one in from home. The cost is £4 per day. Please book ahead or let us know if you need one so we make sure we have enough available. 
We ask for payment quarterly in advance £15 per session, so £45 which covers three sessions for you. We close for August s
