Motifs, Brooches & Cards – Freemotion Embroidery Follow-on Workshop with Caroline Michelle
February 24, 2027 @ 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Make cheerful freemotion motifs – for cards, brooches, plant pots and more
This fun freemotion embroidery workshop is a great class to further your freemotion and appliqué skills and create some gorgeously cheerful, colourful motifs. Pop one in a plant pot to add a little colour, use it as a cake topper, stand it on a wooden base to decorate your home, attach it to a blank card, or add a brooch pin and make it into a badge – the options are endless.
You’ll be guided through all the steps to create your chosen motifs, including floral, seaside, animal and other fun, cute designs. Personalise them with your own choice of colours and fabrics, and add text if you like. The day is full of top tips and handy advice to get the most out of the processes.
Perfect if you’ve learned the basics of freemotion embroidery – you don’t need to have done Caroline’s beginners’ class, as long as you’ve had a go at freemotion before.
This workshop is taught by Caroline Michelle Morgan, a textile artist specialising in freemotion embroidery.
