Lino Printing Workshop with Claire Armitage
Join artist and printmaker Claire Armitage for a relaxed, hands-on lino print workshop, designed for both complete beginners and those looking to develop their skills.
You’ll learn how to develop an initial image, such as a drawing or photograph, into a print, working through mark making, composition, lino cutting techniques and printing processes. Through practical demonstrations and guided tuition, you’ll create your own lino print to take home.
The session offers a supportive space to explore ideas while developing your individual skills and creative confidence. We’ll be printing by hand, and no previous lino printing experience is necessary.
What to bring: any ideas, drawings or photographs you’d like to work from. All other materials and equipment are provided.
The workshop price includes all materials, plus tea, coffee and cake through the day. Lunch is available to buy from our café.
